Belize is home to the second largest barrier reef in the world and three of the four atolls in the entire Western Hemisphere. Turneffe is the most diverse, known for its mangrove forests, coral nurseries, and abundant marine life. With just 20 accommodations on the island, your experience will be intimate, peaceful, and unforgettable.

Located on Turneffe Atoll, just 25 miles off the coast of Belize City, Blackbird Caye Resort is surrounded by clear water and healthy reefs. This private island escape offers easy access to more than 70 dive sites, including the famous Great Blue Hole and Half Moon Caye. Between dives, relax in your beachfront cabana and enjoy Belize’s laid-back island charm.

Our Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Belize & Transfer to Blackbird Caye

    Arrive in Belize City, meet your group, and take the scenic boat transfer to Turneffe Atoll. Settle into your beachfront cabana and enjoy your first island sunset with a welcome dinner by the sea.

  • Day 2-6: Dive the Reefs of Turneffe Atoll

    Spend your days exploring the stunning dive sites surrounding Blackbird Caye. The resort’s valet dive service makes your experience easy and comfortable, with multiple dives each day and plenty of surface interval time to relax in a hammock or paddle along the lagoon.

    3 dives per day (2 on final day)

    Optional guided snorkeling for non-divers

    All meals included

    Evenings at leisure with tropical drinks, stargazing, and new friends

  • Day 7: Great Blue Hole & Lighthouse Reef Day Trip

    Embark on a full-day trip to the Great Blue Hole, Half Moon Caye National Monument, and Long Caye — some of the most famous dive sites in the Caribbean. Expect deep blue walls, schools of reef sharks, and dazzling coral gardens.

  • Day 8: Departure

    Enjoy a final breakfast overlooking the sea before your boat transfer back to Belize City and return flights home.
