Join us for a two-day spearfishing charter in South Dakota, diving the tailrace below Big Bend Dam. This trip is built for adventurous divers looking for something a little different, with current, action, and the chance to bring home walleye and bass after a full day in the water. Space is extremely limited, book now to secure your spot.
Our group will depart Sioux Falls at 7:00 AM on Saturday, August 8. We’ll meet at the downstream marina at Big Bend Dam around 10:00 AM, then get the boat loaded, gear set, and divers oriented before heading out for a short ride to the site.

Divers should plan to bring their full personal dive kit, including a computer with compass, two cutting tools, gloves, sturdy exposure protection, and their own large dive flag float.
Spearfishers will also need an appropriate spearing setup and a South Dakota fishing license. Fish cleaning is part of the experience, and everyone will have the chance to help process the day’s catch before heading home.
